That's right. Alan Arkin was brilliant. Hudson did give a great performace. With all the press junkets she's been doing--I've seen tons of clips. Her voice is amazing. She beat out I don't know how many women for that part. :) This all has to be surreal for her. Getting turned down by American Idol--then going home with an Academy Award.
